Thanks for your interest in leading a Wesley @ Home group! We believe that, with Wesley @ Home, you can be the church wherever you are with people that are already in your life – roommates, teammates, classmates, and anyone else. Since its earliest days the church has continued not because of professional pastors but because of people who shared the Gospel wherever they found themselves. As a Wesley @ Home group leader we want to invite you into that tradition.
There is no special training needed to lead a Wesley @ Home group, and we give you everything you need (including videos, discussions questions, and outreach ideas). We’ve also put together some resources to help you get started:
- The Wesley @ Home Group Leader Guide which goes into much more detail about the ins and outs of leading a Wesley @ Home group – everything from designing your meeting to addressing pastoral care situations.
- Wesley @ Home Group Registration, which lets us get connected and provide you with ongoing support and resources.
- Wesley @ Home Workshops (offered each semester) which give you an opportunity to learn more about Wesley @ Home, ask questions, and get feedback on ideas you have for your group. (See below for the fall 2020 workshop.)
